You will learn how to react in case of an emergency, how to help others, how to tune your senses to foresee possible complications, how to provide assistance to those who need it in and out of the water…
You will learn, practice and enjoy all this and much more on this Rescue and First and Secondary Aid course. It is the last stepping stone before you are able to become a professional diver.
If after this course you do not wish to become a Divemaster we will just buy you a beer!.
We will start with the First and Secondary Aid course: a video, theory and role play of emergency situations to master first aid skills. Bandages, optimal body positions and Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). We’ll cover a combination of situations, which you will learn to control perfectly.
But, what happens when the emergency occurs in the water? In the morning you will learn with a theory lesson to detect and anticipate possible stress or accident situations and to respond to an accident under water as well as above water.
In the afternoon, in two dives, you will practice with your instructor and course mates by simulating emergency situations and solving them. It is an educational and fun course all in one!
This is the most intensive and important day. Again in the morning you will widen your knowledge with a theory session.
In the afternoon, in the last two dives of the course, you will put into practice once again everything you have learnt and you will recognise the independence you have acquired after the work performed on days 1 and 2.
You will become a Rescue Diver was well as gaining the peace of mind that this will benefit you and those around you.
